I spent years working for corporate America, hustling hard and doing all the “right” things. Then, one day… I got laid off from what I thought was a super secure job at a financial firm. Total plot twist.

Instead of freaking out (okay, maybe I freaked out a bit), I took a leap of faith and started my own virtual assistant business, working with private clients and carving a new path on my own terms. And honestly? It was the best decision I ever made.

But here’s what no one tells you: working for yourself can be lonely sometimes. There’s no lunchtime chat, no one to bounce ideas off of, and definitely no team happy hours. 

That’s why I created The Virtual Village. It's rooted in community and collaboration. A space where VAs can link arms, and just get each other. We’re here to share the wins, the what-am-I-doing moments, and everything in between.
